West Lincoln's Beck signs with Lenoir Rhyne
Comments 0 | Recommend 0West Lincoln senior Ethan Beck signed a letter of intent to play baseball at Lenoir Rhyne.
Beck, a four-year starter at West Lincoln, holds a school record for having played in 76 career wins and is second in games played with 108. Beck has helped the Rebels to 13 playoffs wins and two regional appearances. He has received all-conference honors the past three seasons and has played all nine positions during his high school career.
Beck batted .319 with five doubles, three home runs and 22 RBIs this season, helping the Rebels to a 19-7 overall record and second-place tie in the Southern Piedmont 1A/2A Conference. He stole seven bases and scored 27 runs.
For his career, Beck had 73 hits, 14 doubles, one triple and six home runs. He scored 76 runs and drove in 66 more. His on-base percentage is one of the highest in school history at .460 and his slugging percentage is over .420 for his career.
