Ashbrook's Burnham signs with UNC Wilmington

Ashbrook senior Megan Burnham, front center, signed a letter of intent to golf at UNC Wilmington.

Burnham recently was named to the 2009 N.C. All-State golf teams by the Carolinas Golf Association and the Tarheel Youth Golf Association. She had 13 top 10 finishes in TYCA N.C. rankings events over the past year, including reaching the semifinals in the NC Junior Championship.

In her final high school season, Burnham placed second at the N.C. High School Athletic Association 1A/2A/3A girls’ golf championships.
