North Gaston standout setter Carolyn Houser has signed a national letter of intent to play volleyball at Catawba Valley Community College next season.
Houser was selected Big South 3A Conference player of the year last season after leading the Wildcats to their second consecutive league championship. She was also named all-conference and team MVP as a sophomore and junior. Houser plans to study dental hygiene at CVCC.
