Ashbrook
Bradley Edwards – Struck out 15 batters in two complete-game performances, including 3-0 first-round shutout of Bessemer City. Also had three RBI as hitter.
John McCuen – Hit .500 with double, two RBI and two runs.

Luke Kiser – Hit .625 with a double and RBI.
Cherryville
Dylan Hastings – Hit .455 with double and scored four runs. Also appeared in three games for 6 1/3 innings as a pitcher.
East Gaston
Brandon Bates – Pitched complete-game 1-0 shutout over previously unbeaten South Point and picked up a save in third-place game over Cherryville. Also hit .222 with RBI and two runs.
Jarkevius Hopkins – Hit .250 with two RBI and made several spectacular catches in centerfield.
Hunter Huss
Zac Badger – Hit .375 with one RBI.
Forestview
Reilly Hovis – Hit .444 with two doubles, two doubles and three runs. Also got hard-luck complete-game 2-1, eight-inning loss to South Point.
North Gaston
Zade Denton – Tournament MVP hit .636 with two doubles, four RBI and five runs, including hits in seven of his last eight.
Nate Potter – Hit .455 with double, RBI and three runs. Also had perhaps the defensive gem of the tournament with an over-the-shoulder catch in the title game.
Henry Rundio – Struck out tournament-high 13 in title game and had 2 2-3-inning save in tournament opener. Also scored two runs.
South Point
Andrew Locklear – Hit .571 with double and two runs. Also got no-decision in 4 1/3-inning start.
Logan Walden – Got both Red Raiders’ pitching victories and struck out 10 in 6 2/3 innings. Also had walkoff RBI hit in 2-1, 8-inning win over Forestview.
