Warriors to host wrestling regional

After winning the Big South 3A/4A Conference wrestling tournament on Saturday, East Gaston will host the first two rounds of the dual-team wrestling playoffs tonight beginning at 6.

The Warriors will take on East Burke and Ashbrook will wrestle South Caldwell in the first round. The winners will wrestle immediately following the first matches.

Admission is $6.

Regular-season Big South champ North Gaston will travel to St. Stephens to face Enka tonight. Should the Wildcats advance, they’ll face St. Stephens or Lake Norman immediately afterward.
