Highland Tech sports teams fare well in classroom

Highland Tech’s boys track, girls soccer and boys tennis teams turned some of the best report cards of the state this past spring semester.

Each teams’ collective GPAs ranked in the top five across the state in their respective sports according to an email sent to the school from the N.C. High School Athletic Association. The boys tennis team compiled a 3.71 team GPA, the girls soccer team scored a 3.68 GPA and boys track team held a 3.39 team GPA.
