East-West Boys Basketball roster released by NC Coaches Association
The boys basketball all-star game will be played on July 21 in Greensboro.
The N.C. Coaches Association has released the rosters for the 2025 East-West All-Star Boys Basketball Game.
The game is scheduled to be played on July 21 at approximately 8:30 p.m. at the Swarm Fieldhouse at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex. The girls basketball game will be played beforehand at 6:30 p.m.
To be selected for the game, graduating seniors from N.C. High School Athletic Association member schools must be nominated ahead of time by their coaches.
Some of the top seniors from the East will play their counterparts from the West in the all-star game.
Triton’s T.J. Morrison will coach the East team. New Bern coach Calvin Campbell will assist him.
A.C. Reynolds coach Ryan Stevens will be the head coach of the West team. The assistant coach for the West will be North Rowan’s Jason Causby.

East Boys Basketball Roster
Mason Brown (South Granville) - As a senior, Brown averaged 19.7 points and 9.3 rebounds per game, nearly a double-double. He will play college basketball at William Peace.
Jermaine Cunningham (Swansboro) - Cunningham averaged 17.3 points, 8.4 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 3.1 steals, and 1.2 blocks per game for Swansboro. He is slated to play basketball next at Howard College in Texas.
Zymiere Dempsey (Bertie) - Dempsey is a two-sport athlete for Bertie. In basketball, he averaged 23 points, 10.7 rebounds, 4.6 assists, and 3.9 steals per game. He plans to play college football at Winston-Salem State.
Mason Dobie (First Flight) - Dobie averaged 28 points per game this past season as a senior, connecting on 89 three-point attempts. He has scored 2,495 career points for the Nighthawks. He also played golf for First Flight.
Nathan Fife (Sanderson) - Fife helped Sanderson to the state semifinals for the first time in school history, averaging 22.4 points per game, as well as 5.1 assists, 4.4 rebounds, and 2.5 steals. He has scored 2,159 career points and will play college basketball at Northern Michigan.
Anthony Jones (Rocky Mount) - As a senior, Jones averaged 17.6 points, 10.1 rebounds, 2.0 steals, 1.5 assists, and 1.1 blocks per game for the Gryphons. He will play college basketball next season at Sandhills Community College.
Ro’mello Pegues (Triton) - Pegues led Triton in scoring this past winter, averaging 20.2 points per game. He also averaged 4.0 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 1.8 steals. Pegues is a four-year varsity player for the Hawks and has signed with NC Wesleyan.
Jaiden Shephard (Lumberton) - Shephard posted an average of 19.6 points, 15.5 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 2.9 steals, and 1.6 blocks per game this past season as a senior. The 6-foot-4 wing will continue his basketball career at Wake Tech next season.
Tayvion Tangiora (Swansboro) - As a senior, Tangiora averaged 18 points and 8.8 rebounds per game, along with 2.1 blocks and 1.9 assists. He was named the Coastal Conference Player of the Year. Tangiora has committed to Davidson-Davie Community College.
Jussan Wiggins (New Bern) - Wiggins averaged 15.1 points, 5.9 rebounds, 2.8 steals, and 2.5 assists per game this past season for the Bears. He is also a football player at New Bern.

West Boys Basketball Roster
Dylan Clark (Mooresville) - Clark led Mooresville in scoring with an average of 21.4 points per game. He also averaged 7.4 rebounds, 3.0 blocks, and 1.5 assists per game for the Blue Devils. Clark has committed to Winston-Salem State.
Carson Evans (North Mecklenburg) - A two-time NCHSAA 4A state champion, Evans was a Queen City All-Conference Team selection as a senior. He’s a 6-foot-2 combo guard who has committed to Mars Hill.
Kenneth Miller (Ben L. Smith) - Miller helped Ben L. Smith to the 3A state championship this past season, scoring 13 points in the championship game. He was named the Most Outstanding Player at the state championship game and the Defensive Player of the Year in the Mid-State 3A Conference. (Ben L. Smith does not publish statistics on MaxPreps)
Raheim Misher (Maiden) - Misher averaged 17.2 points, 12.9 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.5 blocks, and 1.4 steals per game as a senior for the Blue Devils. He is a 6-foot-4 power forward who also played football at Maiden.
Jordan Patterson (West Iredell) - As a senior, Patterson averaged 30 points per game, along with 6.4 rebounds, 2.8 steals, and 1.6 assists. The 6-foot-3 two-sport athlete (he also played football) will play college basketball at Lees-McRae.
Amare Robinson (Mount Tabor) - Robinson is a 6-foot-4, 210-pound small forward who has signed with Johnson & Wales to play basketball. (Mount Tabor does not publish statistics on MaxPreps)
Emari Russell (North Rowan) - Russell averaged 20.3 points, 5.2 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 3.2 steals per game last season. He has signed with Livingstone College to play basketball next season.
Kristian Scales (Reidsville) - Scales has never lost a varsity basketball game at Reidsville. He averaged 8.4 points, 6.4 rebounds, 1.9 blocks, 1.8 assists, and 1.2 steals per game this past season, earning all-conference honors and helping the Rams to back-to-back titles. He’s a three-sport athlete, also playing football and baseball.
Johnniyus Sharpe (Reidsville) - Sharpe averaged 20.4 points, 3.4 assists, 3.1 rebounds, and 2.0 steals per game for Reidsville this season. He was the MVP of the 2A state championship game as the Rams repeated as champions. Sharpe has committed to USC Aiken.
Myles Smith (Salisbury) - As a senior, Smith averaged 22.5 points per game for Salisbury. He stands at 6-foot-4 and 185 pounds. He has committed to Belmont Abbey.
