Players named to East-West All-Star Girls Basketball Game
20 girls basketball players from across North Carolina were selected for the all-star game, which will be played on July 21 in Greensboro.
Top graduating seniors from N.C. High School Athletic Association member schools nominated by their high school coaches are eligible for the game.
The rosters include 10 players from the East and 10 players from the West. The game will be held on Monday, July 21, at 6:30 p.m. at the Novant Health Field House at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex.
The East team is coached by Perquimans’ Aaron Burke and Hoggard’s Boubacar Aw. The West team is coached by McDowell’s Zach McCartha and West Rowan’s Ashley Poole.
The boys basketball all-star game will take place the same night at approximately 8:30 p.m.
Here are the girls basketball all-star game rosters:
East Girls Basketball Roster
Danauje Brooks (South View) — Brooks averaged 26.6 points, 4.3 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 3.6 steals per game. She will play college basketball at Kentucky State.
Des’Myah Croom (Goldsboro) — Croom nearly averaged a double-double with 14.2 points and 8.2 rebounds per game. She also added 2.8 assists and 2.2 steals.
Ashanti Fox (Union Pines) — Fox averaged 29 points, 4.8 rebounds, 4 steals, and 3.5 assists per game. She will play college basketball at Elon.
Jamaria Freeman (Fike) — Freeman averaged 27.3 points, 7.9 rebounds, 4.3 steals, and 3.4 assists per game. She will play college basketball at UNC-Asheville.
Lailana Harris (Perquimans) — Harris averaged 14 points, 5.3 steals, 5.1 assists, and 5 rebounds per game for Perquimans. She will play college basketball and Virginia Wesleyan.
Jamyia Lindsey (Richmond) — Lindsey averaged 23.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.8 steals, and 2.8 assists per game last season. She will play college basketball at NC A&T.
Amanda Mitchell (Willow Spring) — Mitchell averaged 10.4 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks per game. She will play college basketball at Radford.
Jasmine Nivar (Apex Friendship) — Nivar averaged 27.4 points, 9.4 rebounds, 4.3 steals, and 3.3 assists per game for the Patriots. She will play college basketball at Campbell.
Crishya Sellers (Perquimans) — Sellers averaged 9.1 points, 8.2 rebounds, 5.1 steals, and 2.4 assists per game last season. She will play college basketball at Averett.
Taniya Simms (Fairmont) — Simms averaged a double-double as a senior with 14.1 points and 13 rebounds, along with 3.2 blocks, 2.2 assists, and 1.7 steals per game. She will play college basketball at Winston-Salem State.

West Girls Basketball Roster
Amari Baldwin (Albemarle) — Baldwin, the leading scorer in Albemarle’s school history, averaged 25.6 points, 8.3 steals, 7.6 rebounds, and 5.1 assists per game. She will play college basketball at Winston-Salem State.
Ralee Bare (North Wilkes) — Bare averaged 13.6 points, 6.7 assists, 5.6 rebounds, and 4.2 steals per game for North Wilkes.
Peyton Caldwell (Freedom) — Caldwell averaged 24.2 points, 6.2 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 2.4 steals per game. She will play college basketball at Mars Hill.
Chloe Galombeck (Hough) — Galombech averaged 14.3 points, 2.2 assists, 2.1 rebounds, and 1.6 steals per game. She will play college basketball at West Florida.
Addie Long (A.C. Reynolds) — Long averaged 13.7 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 1 block per game last season. She will play college basketball at Wingate.
Tionna Pettus (Bessemer City) — Pettus averaged 38.7 points, 14.5 rebounds, 10.1 steals, and 4 blocks per game last season.
Alexis Shehan (Lake Norman) — Shehan averaged 13.7 points, 6.1 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 1.9 steals per game. She will play college basketball at Kentucky Wesleyan.
Samantha Shehan (Lake Norman) — Shehan averaged 15.8 points, 3.6 rebounds, 2 steals, and 1.7 assists per game. She will play college basketball at Kentucky Wesleyan.
Kensly Stewart (McDowell) — Stewart is a 1,000-point scorer at McDowell, but her stats from the 2024-2025 season are not available on MaxPreps. She will play college basketball at Greensboro College.
Braelyn Stilwell (East Burke) — Stilwell averaged 23.6 points, 7 assists, 5.4 rebounds, and 5.3 steals as a senior. She will play college basketball at Lees McRae.
